I was a Bioscience student at Nanyang Technological University and was even offered a PhD. However, my desire to provide solutions to people’s financial goals led me to make the choice to become a financial consultant in 2017. I am the proud recipient of the International Dragon Award (IDA).
Bringing pride to my family, agency, and country.
These are the key drivers that keep me motivated as a financial consultant. It helps that I have a nurturing office environment and my mentors who help to keep me going.
Being a “fragent” and “frient” to my clients.
There’s a term my clients and I use for each other. We have a ‘fragent’ and ‘frient’ relationship as friends first, and agent/client second. This is a testament to the multi-faceted roles I play as first and foremost a friend to my clients, before being a financial consultant to them. I am empathetic and take the time to be patient and attentive with my clients, and I think my empathy and ability to relate to them is my biggest strength as a financial consultant.
Grit, humility and compassion are my greatest strengths.
My proudest accolade is when I achieved the IDA award. It was challenging but I managed to overcome many obstacles which caused me doubts, so I am very proud to have these traits that give me the strength I needed to get to my goal.
