I was working as a Marketing & Customer Service Executive before joining the financial industry. My previous job did not allow me to be with my children when they needed me most, so I made the career switch which allowed me to have ownership of my own time. I believe in providing excellent service and working on relationship building with my clients in order to provide the right financial solutions for them.

In order to succeed in this industry, financial consultants should first and foremost enjoy the work we do. On top of that, believing the work we do makes a difference in people’s lives and can positively impact and change their lives. With this belief, you will be able to build up and succeed in this industry.

My boss, VK, is someone who inspires me by always being there for me and supporting me when I need him. It is with such positive influence that I will strive even harder to succeed.
With the advancement of technology, financial consultants now can be more efficient in our work so we need to embrace and keep up with the times, such as being proficient with our social media presence. However, the necessary personal human touch and the warmth of a personalized service shouldn’t be forgotten. I think that as we move forward into the future, financial consultants must learn to balance efficiency with the personalised touch.
