I graduated from Singapore Management University in 2012 with a degree in business management, majoring in finance and psychology. Prior to that, I graduated from Raffles Junior College in 2007, performing well in Economics and Mathematics. In my 6th year as a financial consultant, I have been a recipient of the International Dragon Award (“IDA”) – Bronze Dragon Award for 2 consecutive years in 209 & 2020 and was part of Singapore’s first 100 IDA team in history to achieve the 100 IDA Team Award 2019. I am a member of the Million Dollar Round Table 2019 and AIA Financial Advisers Prestige Platinum Club 2020.

Not an easy journey.
Being a financial consultant can be pretty tough, especially in your first few years. But it is important to always remember the purpose behind your joining this career and working hard as a responsible financial consultant means bettering the lives of the people you serve.

Good leaders build good teams.
The inspiring leaders in the ADVISORS ALLIANCE GROUP not only taught me how to become a competent financial consultant, but they have also taught me how to be a better person. I am eternally grateful to have been mentored by them, and I consider them my greatest influence.

Financial consultants provide that human touch.
Back in the day, financial consultants were largely operational and handled mostly administrative aspects of the business. Now, financial consultants are responsible for holistically serving their clients, and focus more on enhancing the quality of comprehensive advisory and planning for clients with a human touch to keep things personal. I believe this is an important thing for financial consultants to note, especially if they wish to be differentiated from the rest.
