I started an F&B business with a few friends in October 2020 and after a few months of running and managing the business, I decided that I needed another stream of income as the business was not doing very well. I then realised that my IO, Joel Ong was always giving me the advice I needed to continue running my business efficiently, and I felt that the advice he gave me was genuine. I decided to embark on this new journey with him
and AAG in May 2021, and RNF in November 2021 to clear my first MDRT and IDA.

A career with control and structure.
Ever since becoming a financial consultant, I feel it has brought more control and structure to my life. Having the benefit of time flexibility is a plus, and the most important thing that changed was when my friends said I looked much happier here compared to when I was running my business.
Building a global network.

With digitalisation, we now have the ability to expand our reach to different countries now instead of just focusing on the local markets. With technology, we can adapt and build a network with people from overseas as well as how Singapore is becoming more of a financial hub.

Ethics should never be overlooked.
As our work is of a financial nature, ethics is an extremely vital trait to all financial consultants. We should strive to give our clients the best solutions for their needs and provide the same exact level of service to every client.
