I was very inspired by my mentor, Jonas Ng, who also is my cousin. Seeing how differently he changed from before he started working, I got curious about how his career transformed his life. During a family trip in 2019, I decided to find out more about this career path, and the rest is history — here I am today.

A strong pillar of support.

My family has always been there for me, and they are my greatest inspiration that keeps me going. During times when I couldn’t make it back home for dinner or events, they understood that I was busy and did not complain or make things difficult for me. Towards the end of the year, I realised I needed a different working environment and decided to rent a place for productivity. I could sense a tinge of worry within them but nonetheless, they still were supportive of my decision.

You won’t realise the importance of coverage until you need it.

One of the greatest trauma my family went through was when my uncle passed away in 2007. Then, it didn’t occur to me the importance of insurance because I was too young to understand anything. But now, I realise he only had a Dependant Protection Scheme (DPS), which doesn’t leave many benefits behind upon his demise. Therefore, it became a promise that I would never put my friends into a situation like this in future.

Achieving success together.

My greatest goal in my career is to see the associates I bring in to achieve their goals. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the smiles I can put on others’ faces.
