This year marks my 8th year in the financial advisory business since graduating from the Nanyang Technological University. A big motivational factor for me to keep going is my drive for excellence, and always striving to give my clients the best service. As Senior Director of the ADVISORS ALLIANCE GROUP, I lead a young and dynamic team. Even though my team consists of a mix of student advisors and full-time consultants, they are productive, never failing to consistently achieve the company and international awards such as the International Dragon Award (IDA) and the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).

Being competent is not enough.
Apart from maintaining professionalism and being technically good at your job, it is also important to have a heart of service to your clients. People will not know how much you know until they know how much you care.

Financial consultants have the power to change the landscape.
That is why we should always think long-term for the industry. For me, I want to groom the leaders of tomorrow, to empower them to change and transform the landscape of the financial services industry.

Every financial consultant needs to have integrity, gratitude, service and compassion. My work over the past 8 years has allowed me to interact with clients from all walks of life. I was able to put myself in their shoes and understand their needs and also how the work that I do is able to directly help them and their families.
