The sky is the limit for Shao Lun who achieved Top Associate Director this year, after clinching Top Financial Consultant consecutively in 2021 and 2020. Shao Lun does not plan to rest on his laurels and intends to keep going in the knowledge that he is positively impacting the lives of those around him.

Do good by others and stay humble, and never forget that we are ultimately in the business of impacting people’s lives positively. Being in this industry, it is important to keep improving and adapting to the market, while also not compromising your values. Throughout my leadership journey, I am mindful of something one of my mentors shared with me that has brought me to where I am today, and helped me build my close-knit team culture: “ 存好心，说好话，做好事, and whenever we engage with younger people to mentor them, we need to 用心对待人”.
Foster the right habits and lead by example.
I have always believed effective leadership lies in two important values. Firstly in fostering strong positive habits and having a strong presence as well. I ensure I am accountable to myself and my associates where we report to work at 730am daily, to cultivate a morning culture and start the day positive. This allows the right energy to get transferred throughout the day to their associates and to their clients. Secondly it is to lead by example. By achieving MDRT, COT, and TOT awards, I hope to inspire and motivate my associates to aim for the same or higher.
This career is not a one-man show.
AIA FA and AAG have supported me in countless ways. I have my leaders and mentors to thank for being a role model for our team, and showing us that anything can be achievable if we set our minds to it.
