The most rewarding aspect of this career, aside from positively impacting lives, is when my clients believe in me and place their trust in my advice. It is especially heartening when these clients refer me to their friends and family and these instances deepen the fulfilment I find in the work that I do. I am constantly motivated and inspired by my mentors Vincent Koh and Wong Mei Li, and strive to have the same conviction and belief in their cause and sincerity in all that they do. Aside from providing financial advice to my clients, I am also their confidante and go-to person for non-financial advice and recommendations.

I believe that being trustworthy and remaining professional are key traits for any financial consultant, and we should always be mindful to level up our branding and credibility for the good of all in the industry. Every career has its unique challenges and whilst there are many pros in this career, it does come with its challenges too. To be able to find success and do good in this industry, a FC should consistently seek to stay relevant and competent, keeping themselves up to date on product knowledge in order to provide the right solutions to their clients. Remaining resilient without losing faith is also crucial to finding success as we face many constant rejections.
