I began my career in financial advisory by joining AWM / AIAFA in April 2023 while actively pursuing a business degree at Singapore Management University (SMU). My interest in finance was piqued through my academic pursuits, which led me to explore this field more deeply.

The finance industry stood out to me as a realm where I could significantly impact individuals’ lives positively by helping them achieve financial security and peace of mind. My goal was to ensure that people around me could manage their finances without stress or worry, achievable through diligent and strategic financial planning.

The most rewarding moments in my career come from the heartfelt “Thank yous” I receive from my clients. Knowing that I have played a pivotal role in helping them achieve their financial goals is immensely fulfilling. More than just being their advisor, becoming a trusted confidante to whom they can turn at any time reaffirms the value and impact of my work. These expressions of gratitude and the trust placed in me by my clients continually fuel my passion and commitment to this profession.

My ultimate career aspiration is to extend my impact by forming a team of dedicated professionals. I understand that as an individual, my reach is limited; however, by building a team, we can collectively enhance our outreach and profoundly influence more lives. The goal is to amplify the benefits we can deliver to society.

For those just starting out in this industry, it is crucial to view every rejection as a stepping stone towards success. A valuable piece of advice I once received highlighted that a successful financial advisor is often defined by their resilience in facing rejections. Embracing these challenges and using them as opportunities to learn and grow is essential.
