Driven by my passion and belief that I can make a difference in people’s lives through financial planning, I decided to join the insurance industry after graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Birmingham in 2001. My 20 years in the industry have definitely had their challenges. However, these challenges have trained and moulded me to always strive to do my best in life, and be empathetic to people’s needs. I have learned to focus on solutions and growth rather than problems, and to count my blessings every step of the way. I do my best to not let physical limitations limit my potential. Over time, I have also developed a keen interest in Corporate Risks Management. It has become a niche market space as part of my business portfolio.

My accolades include being the 1st runner-up of the CS Master Agent 2019, which is the highest award in Group Corporate Solutions (GCS) in AIA Singapore, and the Regional Employee Benefits Specialist since 2016. I am also the AIA FA Top Corporate Solutions Financial Consultant since 2019, as well as the 1st runner-up of the AIA FA Top Awards 2019 Financial Consultant. I have also achieved Court of The Table (COT) for 2021 and 2022.

My family and the ability to make a difference in people’s lives are the key drivers that motivate me to excel in my career and to perform my role to the best of my abilities.

Being a multi-faceted solutions provider to my clients.
Besides providing financial consulting services, I am also a solutions provider to my clients. I always provide an empathetic listening ear without judgement and be a friend to them in times of need. I take the time to be patient, attentive and get to know each client personally, and always put their interests first and foremost. This dedication and commitment to being trustworthy allow me to build strong relationships with my clients.

Keeping current in the industry.
I make it a point to keep myself updated, and my product expertise gives me the advantage to be able to patiently explain complex jargon in a way my clients can easily comprehend. I believe my own multi-faceted life experiences as a patient, and as a father provides me with the empathy required to care for my clients with professionalism and sincerity.

In 2019 I was 1st runner-up for the CS Master Agent 2019. This is the highest award in Group Corporate Solutions (GCS) in AIA Singapore. This is a great recognition of my continuous dedication to people’s interests and hard work. It would not have been possible without the great support from the AIA CS department, my bosses in the GT Group, as well as my administrative team. There’s a lot to be thankful for, most importantly I will always want to thank all the people and everything who have contributed to my journey thus far.
