I started working as a financial consultant when I was still an undergraduate at the Singapore Management University back in 2006. Since then, I have never looked back upon this decision. In the last 15 years of my career in AIA, I have progressed from a novice consultant to a Senior Director. My accolades include being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), Superstar Platinum and MDC Platinum.

Helping others through financial consultancy.
Knowing that my recommendations of financial products and plans have helped my clients to plan for their wealth accumulation and the satisfaction I gain when I have helped my clients successfully find the right products to match their needs are the key drivers that keep me motivated as a financial consultant. This is especially relevant should my clients face unfortunate events and the hospitalization plans I have recommended to them help them and their family to tide over the difficult times.

Treating clients as my own family.
Besides being a financial consultant to my clients, I am also their trusted friend. For example, I have been there to share their joy when they welcome a newborn into their family. I have also been there to share their grief when a death occurred in the family.
Having great empathy is my biggest strength as a financial consultant. I have good listening skills that enable me to hear my clients’ needs and think from their perspectives. In their different stages in life, they need suitable plans to cater to their financial needs and my meticulous attention to detail helps to find the plans that best fit their goals.

Earnestness and sincerity go a long way.
Being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table is one of my proudest achievements and I earned it by remaining earnest when helping my clients. My sincerity prompts them to introduce their family and friends to seek my services thus increasing my referrals. I am also effectively supported by a team of administration, group benefits and investment products specialists whose teamwork and professionalism help me build long-term relationships with my growing client base and provide excellent customer service.
