Prior to joining the financial advisory business, I have experience working in various industries from engineering to corporate banking sales to pharmaceutical sales. As a chartered financial consultant (ChFC®️/S) and certified estate planner (CEP) with a certificate in retirement adequacy planning, I have been a winner of International Dragon Award (“IDA”) in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 as well as a member of Million Dollar Round Table in 2016, 2020 and 2021. I was also part of Singapore’s first 100 IDA team in history to achieve the 100 IDA Team Award 2019. And we became the 1st to do it twice in a row. In 2020, we did it the 3rd time and this time with 200 awardees, yet another record for the ADVISORS ALLIANCE GROUP. On top of that, I am a Corporate Solutions Specialist, and in 2020 and 2021, I won the Top Director Award in AIAFA for Corporate Solutions. I am also a member of AIA Financial Advisers Pinnacle Club 2020, 2021 and 2022 and was recognised by Financial Services Managers Association at Singapore Management Awards 2019, 2020 and 2021 as one of the Silver (Direct) awardees.

I believe in resilience, perseverance and always striving to be better. All good things take time to grow, and without that desire to be better than who you were yesterday, you will stay stagnant and eventually wither away.

Think like your clients.
Empathy is a very big part of what makes a good financial consultant, and we must always stay true to our clients by offering solutions that you are confident you would also take up if you were in their shoes. And this is what I always tell my associates to do before they propose a solution based on the client’s current situation. The question to ask is, will I take up the proposal if I was in his/her same shoes?
