I took the leap of faith into a financial consulting career after leaving my corporate job of 5 years. I have now spent 7 years as a financial consultant, and never looked back.


Think of your clients as family.

If you treat your clients as your own family members, it reinforces the mentality of service, which I hold very close to my heart. We have to always put ourselves in our clients’ shoes in order to derive the best solutions for their needs and goals.


Unlearn and relearn.

If we think we are ripe, we will rot. So we have to always unlearn and relearn, and adapt to the changing demands of financial consulting. With the uncertainties in our world, we need to be even more prepared now for future challenges that may impact our clients’ different financial needs.


Stay true to your purpose.

Many newcomers might come in with a fear of uncertainty, but stay true to your purpose, trust the process and the results will naturally come. Always think about excellent service first!
