I began my career with AIA FA in August 2020 and was promoted to Associate Director by January 2024. My journey into the world of financial consultancy started unconventionally — armed with a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, my path was set towards a different direction until I served my National Service in 2017. It was during this period that I cultivated a keen interest in money management, finance, macro, and behavioural economics.

I was lucky to have met a good friend and mentor, who later introduced me to the financial advisory industry. The dynamic and supportive environment at AIA, coupled with accessible mentorship, confirmed my decision to pursue this path. The thrill of advocating good financial habits and providing informed advice proved to be a perfect match for my passions and skills.

A standout moment in my career thus far occurred in 2023 when I handled a high net worth and affluent family case, which not only challenged my capabilities but also significantly enhanced my professional growth. This case earned me the recognition for the Highest Single Premium Case of the year at my company — a testament to the hard work and dedication I invested.

For newcomers to the industry, I always say advisory is a lifelong journey. The pursuit of improvement and excellence is continuous, and it is this relentless pursuit that carves out the best among us.
