I was in the marine and offshore industry for 6 years in procurement, before making the mid-career switch to be a financial consultant. It wasn’t an easy choice to make, but I am glad that I stepped into this meaningful career that can bring a positive impact to many families.
I am grateful to have met many mentors and benefactors in my life who have supported and guided me to where I am today. 3 years into my career, I’m able to pursue growth, personal development and self-control over my time to spend with my family and friends.
Providing support at every step of the way.
As a financial consultant, I am committed to supporting my friends and clients as we journey through life together. Every step of the way, I aim to provide the right solution for every situation, as I understand that financial needs differ across our various life stages.
Be an active listener.
As a solutions provider, it is important to actively listen to your clients and their financial needs. Whatever their goals may be, I will listen carefully and show how financial planning can help achieve them.
Change is the only constant in life.
That is why financial planning is not a one-off exercise. As a financial consultant, servicing is always important. We are a life-long journey planner, and we should devote ourselves to our clients’ welfare rather than one-time sales.
As Mother Teresa once put it: “The fruit of silence is prayer; the fruit of prayer is faith; the fruit of faith is love; the fruit of love is service; the fruit of service is peace.”
