A personal ethos from his mentor that has served him well throughout his career so far, Isaac believes that to be successful in financial advisory requires one to stay M.A.D – Motivated, with the right Attitude and having Discipline. But this doesn’t necessarily equate to all work and no play as he always encourages his associates to live a well-balanced life, to work hard and play hard as a team, which helps build camaraderie and allows the team to know they are there for one another, through the good times as well as the bad.

Singapore’s Founding Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew once said “To be successful in a profession or business, to become wealthy, cannot be compared to making the lives of your fellowmen better. This can bring immense satisfaction.” Isaac believes that the success of his leadership is directly related to the success of those being led by him, and finds no greater satisfaction than seeing his associates achieve their goals and grow to reach even greater heights, not only professionally but also to grow as a person.

With his previous experience as an ex-national water polo player, Isaac is no stranger to being a team player and is able to listen to input from others and take action based on that input to improve his own, and the team’s performance. As a leader, he uses this same experience to provide clear, understandable goals, tasks and other organisational expectations to his team.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Isaac has set his sights on the next milestone of his career- to promote an award-winning director, as a testament to the organisation having the right systems and DNA for successful leaders.
