I chanced upon this career path upon graduating from Nanyang Technological University’s Nanyang Business School, and felt that it’s one that can really impact lives and educate people to become more financially savvy.

I enjoy working with my clients to curate their personalised financial portfolio that suits their needs. My dream is to impact as many lives as possible, and to also have a team of competent advisors that share the same goal.

Follow the footsteps of your role models in the industry.

I consider Ray Tan to be my biggest inspiration. His work ethic is top notch, and so is his commitment to this career. I respect him a lot, and hope to be able to achieve what he has someday.

Draw life lessons from clients.

I meet lots of people over the years, and this allows me to have a better understanding of my clients and their unique situations at different life stages. Through this, I am able to use these experiences to pass down proper financial advice that sometimes other clients may not be able to see at their current stage in life.

If it doesn’t scare you, it’s probably not worth doing.

Sometimes the best thing to do is to take a leap of faith, and trust the process. Be a listening ear, a good friend, and somebody that your clients can confide in. At the end of the day, we just want to help and be there for our clients. My greatest goal is to build a committed and competent team of individuals, to impact as many lives as possible.
