I embarked on this journey as a financial consultant in my 2nd year at Singapore Management University, allowing me to pay for my own school fees and stop taking allowance from my parents. As a student, my opportunity cost was low. On average I was taking home $1,800 per month as a student. It was simple maths. Upon graduation, I thought to myself, as a full time SMU student, I could bring home $1,800 per month, so if I were to double or triple the time and effort in this business, then whatever I am going to bring home as a fresh graduate would be more than most. The rest was history.

In my 17 years as a financial consultant, I have won many awards and accolades. They include the International Dragon Award, Million Dollar Round Table, Top Recruiter, Top High Net Worth & Affluent, Centurion & Pinnacle Club Awardee.

I am a Senior Director currently heading both the ADVISORS ALLIANCE GROUP private wealth office and mortgage business units. Aside from being one of the top recruiting Directors, I am also the Top 10 Producers in the whole of ADVISORS ALLIANCE GROUP for the past 2 years. It’s not just about the awards, it’s about impacting lives.

Playing multiple roles in our clients’ lives.

A financial consultant plays more than one role in our clients’ lives. I am definitely a friend first and foremost, besides being a financial consultant to my clients.

The ability to create meaningful friendship is one of my biggest strength as a financial consultant. Most people do not care about how much you know until they know how much you care for them. I believe this is my biggest unique selling point.

Finding success with positivity, faith, and belief.

I’m proud to be one of the top recruiting directors and also one of the top 10 producers in the whole of ADVISORS ALLIANCE GROUP, and still able to achieve top Senior Director for Prestige Club. This was no easy feat, and I managed it by being able to compartmentalise and working hard on my referral system. I remind myself to do my daily honest job and surround myself with the right people. I made it a point to guard my heart and mind only with positivity and maintained my faith and belief. I am blessed and full of gratitude. I would not be able to achieve all that I have without God’s grace, my family, friends, the ADVISORS ALLIANCE GROUP and the dedicated AIA support staff.
