In the financial advisory industry for almost 2 years now, I became a financial consultant after graduating as a commando as I wanted a platform that could help me accomplish my personal financial goals, by helping others achieve theirs.

Becoming a financial consultant allows me to reach out to my loved ones, and ensure that they are well covered and protected. Through this career, I can value-add and help many families to ensure they are getting covered with the right amount and not be overly insured.

I believe that quality financial consultants are hard to come by as our population grows massively each year, and it’s important that we take this responsibility of making ourselves competent and experts in our field to help others understand what financial literacy means. It is our job to value-add and guide our clients.

Taking that first step into this career is always the hardest, but being able to sustain ourselves will also not necessarily be easy. What keeps us going is by having discipline and trustworthiness, as ultimately, our clients must feel secure with their decisions when they know that you are competent, reliable and trustworthy.
