I embarked on my financial consulting career while I was still a freshman in Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University. I met a financial consultant who changed my perspective on the importance of financial planning, and it made me realise that many families struggled with their finances as they lacked financial literacy.

From then on, I decided to help as many families as possible through proper financial planning. I’ve been a student advisor since, and have never looked back.

My journey as a financial consultant has been exceptionally fruitful as I have built many meaningful relationships with people and learnt many life lessons. I am glad that through this journey, I’ve been able to make a positive impact on the people around me. All my achievements would not be possible without the trust from my clients, and I will continuously value add to my clients as I grow in this journey.

My key influences in my career are my clients, mentors, and colleagues. I have immense gratitude to them for walking this meaningful journey with me. After learning many life lessons from different perspectives, I usually share these financial experiences, and even mistakes, to my clients for them to advance further in life. A wise man once said, “Smart people learn from their mistakes, but the real sharp ones learn from the mistakes of others”.
