Financial consulting was not a path Tham Shunren had originally considered, but it ultimately led him down the path of success. In the industry for 7 years now, Shunren graduated with a degree in accountancy before deciding to follow the footsteps of his mother into financial consulting.

Now, he stays motivated in the industry from the personal fulfilment and satisfaction he derives from serving his clients. Shunren believes that service, passion and love for people are the most important traits that all financial consultants should have, and there is no dream too big to achieve as long as one keeps working towards it.

As a leader in the industry, Shunren believes that growth in self is to support growth in others and leading his team of financial consultants requires him to also always lead himself well. As a director, he encourages his teammates to always stay humble and stay hungry, and he always strives to be the light and support of his team.

Shunren was also awarded AIA FA Top Director 2020 – 1st Runner Up . His other accolades include being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table 2021, AIA FA Pinnacle Club 2021 (Gold Unit), AIA FA Prestige Club 2021 (Gold) and the International Dragon Bronze Award 2021 (Agent Category).
