A graduate of the National University of Singapore in chemical engineering, Eugene Tan chose financial consulting as a career as he always desired to become his own entrepreneur. He believes his line of work is one that allows him to see his direct impact on his clients and society, as well as enjoy autonomy in carrying out his responsibilities.

His drive to succeed in life is to never surrender, and even when faced with the toughest challenges brought by his clients, Eugene’s mantra is to always handle them with compassion, and ensure that their best interests are served. He constantly reminds himself of this quote by Wayne Dyer: “When you stay on purpose and refuse to be discouraged by fear, you align with the infinite self, in which all possibilities exist.”

Apart from being a financial consultant, Eugene is also a leader who strives to bring out the best in every associate. Financial consulting as a career transformed his life, and he aspires to pay it forward and plant more trees so that others can also benefit from the shade. Ultimately, Eugene wishes for all his associates to proudly say at the end of the day that they’ve done their best without any regrets.

Eugene is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table 2021 and recipient of the International Dragon Bronze Award 2021 (Agent and Manager Categories). He is also AIA FA’s Top Director (2nd runner-up) 2020 and a member of AIA FA Pinnacle Club (Gold Unit) and Prestige Club (Platinum) 2021.
